Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and identify appropriate resources within the community to best support their family dynamics.

• Provide expert counseling services, creating personalized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations of psychological, emotional, and social factors affecting clients.

• Document detailed accounts of patient histories, assessments, diagnoses, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

• Educate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to discuss clients’ psychosocial challenges and ensure holistic approaches to therapy.

• Stay informed on best practices in mental health, including knowledge about substance abuse, domestic violence, trauma, and child maltreatment to effectively address crises.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will provide services to a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. Clients may experience conditions ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex issues such as trauma and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a relevant clinical field.

• State licensure in California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist.

Compensation and Benefits\n
