This full-time, remote position allows you to provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face counseling sessions, ensuring optimal accessibility and care for our clients in Tallahassee, Florida.

Work Environment\n

This role is uniquely positioned within a community health clinic that emphasizes trauma-informed care principles. Our flexible remote setting promotes work-life balance and allows you the independence to create your own schedule within our operational hours of 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, benefitting from a supportive environment that includes a dedicated scheduling and client service team working extended hours.

Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients’ trauma histories and develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with trauma recovery strategies and foster resilience among patients.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients to process their trauma, cultivate coping mechanisms, and promote personal growth.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care for our clients.
\n
• Act promptly during crisis situations, offering support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and families about trauma responses and empower them with coping strategies and available resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings that focus on enhancing trauma-informed care practices and professional development.

• Stay informed about current research and emerging best practices in trauma therapy, integrating this knowledge into your therapeutic modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting a diverse patient population facing trauma-related challenges. You will engage with individuals who are navigating the impacts of their experiences, equipping them with the tools necessary for emotional healing and resilience. We particularly value generalists who are comfortable seeing couples, for which training will be provided.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LMHC in the state of Florida.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment methods.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications relevant to mental health practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach toward clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
