This position offers a unique blend of telehealth and in-person counseling services aimed at supporting individuals in Cortlandt Manor, New York, and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering trauma-informed care to promote mental wellness and resilience.

Work Environment\n

This role encompasses a remote work setting, providing the flexibility to manage your schedule within our operational hours of 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. You can expect a supportive environment, where our scheduling and client service support teams assist you in maintaining a full clinical caseload, typically established within the first 90 days post-credentialing. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and craft appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and resilience in each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to confront and process trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and encourage overall healing.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive integrated and holistic care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support in trauma-related emergencies to stabilize and guide clients through acute stress reactions.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, healthy coping strategies, and available support resources to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential documentation of all patient interactions and treatments, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities designed to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually improve the quality of counseling provided.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
