Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, developing individualized treatment plans to address specific needs.
• Administer treatment sessions utilizing various therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to reduce pain and improve mobility.
• Continuously assess and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation practices, preventative measures, and the usage of assistive devices to encourage self-management.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and contribute to comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Participate in mentorship programs for new graduates, aiding in their transition to professional practice.
• Stay informed on advancements in physical therapy by attending workshops and contributing to professional networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation. Your role will be crucial in helping each patient regain physical function, improve mobility, and achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the relevant regulatory body.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in treating a varied caseload, including both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
• Familiarity with specialized rehabilitation tools and modalities, such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Prior experience in home care settings is a plus but not mandatory.
