Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist working with us, you will provide onsite therapy services in clients' homes, fostering a comfortable and familiar environment for rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' physical abilities, impairments, and rehabilitation needs, utilizing diagnostic and prognostic tests.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, reducing pain, and preventing disability, in alignment with physician-prescribed care.
• Direct and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and promoting best practices in patient care.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic exercises and manual treatments, as well as guidance for clients and their families in non-manual exercises and daily activities.
• Evaluate the home environment to make actionable recommendations that improve clients' independence and safety in their daily routines.
• Document client progress meticulously through clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop coordinated care strategies and improve overall treatment outcomes.
• Provide education and training to clients and their families on the effective use and maintenance of physical therapy devices.
• Maintain timely and accurate submissions of all required clinical and administrative documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Serve as a resource for clients and families, addressing their concerns and fostering a supportive, encouraging therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will primarily work with a diverse demographic, including individuals recovering from surgery, chronic pain sufferers, and elderly clients needing rehabilitation services to maintain their functionality and autonomy. Your role is vital in delivering compassionate care that addresses physical, emotional, and social aspects of health, tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey, maintaining good standing.
• Certified in CPR and First Aid, ensuring readiness for any emergency situations that may arise during treatment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with clients and their families, fostering trust and collaboration.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in home care or similar settings.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in geriatric therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, or neurological rehabilitation is highly desirable.
• A proactive attitude with innovative thinking to enhance patient care processes.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems to manage client documentation efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
