The position is enhanced by a full Operations team that ensures administrative tasks are seamlessly managed, enabling you to concentrate on delivering high-quality mental health care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct remote telehealth therapy sessions with adolescents and young adults, creating personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.

• Facilitate small group therapy sessions, maintaining a maximum of eight clients for in-depth exploration of healing methodologies.

• Participate in regular case discussions with fellow clinicians to share insights, enhance skills, and develop interdisciplinary treatment approaches.

• Provide comprehensive assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.

• Collaborate with our Admissions and Assessment team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for clients and prioritize follow-up care as required.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by utilizing provided resources for free continuing education units (CEUs).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Veterans' Med Psychiatric Center, our primary focus is on addressing the mental health needs of adolescents and young adults struggling with a range of psychological issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma effects, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• A valid and unrestricted license as either an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.

• Availability for a minimum of 12 hours per week, with options for part-time (1099 position) or full-time (W2 position).

• Experience working with adolescent or young adult populations is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

While experience with the previously mentioned populations is ideal, we welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds in mental health counseling. Prior involvement in telehealth services or knowledge of virtual therapeutic modalities will enhance your candidacy. Additionally, proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is set between USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting experience and qualifications.
