This role operates fully remotely through our telehealth platform, enabling you to connect with clients face-to-face via secure video conferencing tools. You will utilize a collaborative approach while working alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, and other therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to determine patients' mental health needs and create personalized treatment plans that reflect best practices.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions across a variety of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, adapting strategies to meet the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions aimed at alleviating common mental health challenges, enhancing coping skills, and encouraging peer support.

• Collaborate with other health professionals, actively participating in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and coordinate comprehensive care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, allowing for timely support during client emergencies.

• Educate patients on mental health topics, treatment approaches, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential patient records, adhering to all ethical and legal standards related to documentation and information sharing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure in New York as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• Thorough understanding of various mental health disorders and corresponding therapeutic interventions.

• Experience in performing comprehensive mental health assessments, combined with a track record of devising effective treatment strategies.

• Capability in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions to clients from varied demographics.

Preferred Experience\n
