Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify client needs and help tailor individualized treatment plans that promote effective and measurable outcomes.

• Engage in one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address various mental health concerns.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client progress, session notes, and treatment plans in our electronic medical records system.

• Collaborate proactively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists and social workers, to ensure clients receive a comprehensive support system throughout their healing journey.

• Participate in ongoing professional training and development sessions to stay abreast of emerging research and practices in mental health counseling.

• Provide crisis intervention strategies and support for clients experiencing acute emotional distress to maintain their safety and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
