The position is fully remote, allowing team members to provide therapy and support from the comfort of their homes while connecting with clients via secure telehealth platforms. Our outpatient setting is designed to accommodate flexible scheduling during standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adjustments to meet patient requirements. We create a supportive atmosphere for both clients and staff, emphasizing teamwork and communication to ensure effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific situations.

• Administer therapeutic interventions utilizing a variety of proven modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and more, according to best practices in the field.

• Lead engaging psychoeducational groups that provide support and community to individuals dealing with common mental health issues.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver holistic and coordinated care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, equipping patients with coping mechanisms and immediate support.

• Facilitate open communication, educating patients about their mental health conditions and treatment options available within our practice and the community.

• Maintain meticulously accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to stay informed on industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Touch of Peace, you will work closely with a diverse group of patients dealing with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Proven expertise in conducting comprehensive assessments and creating effective treatment plans.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy to various populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The expected salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
