Key Responsibilities\n

• Apply evidence-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients process trauma and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide holistic care tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals coping with trauma-related issues, including PTSD, complex trauma histories, and various dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Texas as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in trauma-informed care.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, with practical experience in implementing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by empathy, active listening, and a non-judgmental approach.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in challenging situations and provide support with dignity.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with additional training in trauma therapies or certifications related to trauma-informed practices will be viewed favorably. Candidates who have worked with diverse populations or in outpatient settings will also be highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
