Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and inform tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that enable patients to process trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and strengthen their self-efficacy.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care for all patients, enhancing therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients have immediate access to help when needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, promoting understanding and empowering them in their healing journey.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults and adolescents who have experienced varying degrees of trauma. This role requires sensitivity and an understanding of complex trauma issues, as you will provide care for those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and other dissociative disorders. Your contributions will not only support individual healing but also foster a community that promotes resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, or LSCSW in the state of Kansas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, specifically working with trauma-affected individuals.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapeutic methodologies.
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to create a non-judgmental, compassionate therapeutic environment.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
