Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, you will have the flexibility to design your work environment while remaining connected to our collaborative care team. By leveraging digital tools and communication platforms, you will participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions focused on cultural competency. Your work will take place within an outpatient setting, where you will address the immediate needs of your patients while drawing upon the extensive resources of our clinic. The typical work schedule includes Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide crisis intervention support when urgent mental health challenges arise, demonstrating the ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.

• Educate patients and their families concerning mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources that can aid in their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure in the state of Virginia as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Strong knowledge of a wide range of mental health disorders and the latest evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy with an emphasis on culturally responsive practices.

• Proficient crisis intervention skills, with a capability to navigate challenging situations effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in building rapport with a diverse array of clients.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related digital tools.
