Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gather information regarding patients’ personal experiences and mental health journeys.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions that reflect the cultural and personal backgrounds of patients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing a wide variety of therapeutic techniques to promote resilience and effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure interdisciplinary care that is cohesive and beneficial for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support, demonstrating composure and professionalism during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health topics, including available treatment options and community resources that can aid in their recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering strictly to legal and ethical requirements, ensuring that patient privacy is always safeguarded.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders and culturally responsive treatment modalities.

• Proven experience providing individual and group therapy with a focus on cultural inclusivity.

Compensation and Benefits\n
