Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior Licensed Social Worker, your responsibilities will include the following:

• Conduct thorough assessments of students' psychosocial needs, considering emotional, mental, and social factors influencing their academic performance and daily life.

• Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with students and their families, outlining specific goals and strategies to address challenges.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students, nurturing emotional resilience and guiding them through personal and academic challenges.

• Advocate for students' rights, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and support services within the school and broader community.
\n
• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and other professionals to coordinate care and facilitate comprehensive support for students.

• Conduct regular check-ins with students to monitor their progress and make adjustments to care plans as necessary, addressing any emerging issues.

• Engage families in the support process, facilitating communication, and providing them with tools and resources to assist their children effectively.

• Educate students and their families about mental health resources, community services, and academic support systems.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards.

• Stay abreast of current trends and practices in social work, mental health policies, and ethical standards to ensure compliance and optimal care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve school-aged children, working directly with students who may face a variety of challenges including emotional distress, learning disabilities, family issues, and social integration difficulties. Your interventions will not only focus on individual student needs but also involve enhancing family dynamics and fostering a supportive school environment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

• Minimum of two years of experience in a social work role, with a preference for experience in educational or community settings.

• In-depth knowledge of social work principles, adolescent development, and community resources relevant to mental health and education.

• Exceptional assessment, counseling, and problem-solving skills that enable effective intervention.

Compensation and Benefits\n
