Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate client needs and formulate individualized treatment strategies.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions across a variety of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches, tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, creating a safe space for clients to discuss challenges and build community connections.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive client care and to promote integrated treatment plans.

• Deliver crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, providing immediate support and referring them to appropriate resources.

• Educate clients on mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards through proficient use of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or LCSW-R in New York.
