Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to assess clients' mental health status and needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique circumstances.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ goals, incorporating various therapeutic approaches to best support their journey.
• Provide high-quality individual therapy to adult clients, utilizing evidence-based and solution-focused practices that encourage meaningful progress.
• Engage with clients through teletherapy, ensuring a secure and supportive environment for therapy sessions.
• Deliver crisis intervention services as necessary, demonstrating swift and effective responses to clients in distress.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain a current understanding of the latest mental health best practices and industry standards.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering an atmosphere of compassion and support for clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients from varying backgrounds.
• Proficient organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing a robust caseload effectively.
• No history of disciplinary action on licensure.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of professional experience is required, candidates with expertise in specific therapeutic modalities (such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or dialectical behavior therapy) or those who have worked extensively in telehealth settings will be preferred. Familiarity with contemporary mental health challenges and a passion for continuous learning are valued traits.

Compensation and Benefits

Empathic Health Therapy Center offers a competitive annual salary between USD 90,000 and 104,000, commensurate with caseload and experience.
