Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments through interviews and diagnostic testing to determine appropriate treatment interventions tailored to each individual’s needs.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and, when appropriate, lead family, marriage, or group counseling sessions based on your clinical expertise and training.
• Prepare detailed treatment plans with measurable outcomes, ensuring ongoing communication with clients and their families to adjust strategies as needed.
• Evaluate and perform mental health screenings to ascertain the specific therapeutic needs of clients while documenting care plans accurately in our electronic health records system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide referrals, coordinate care, and support patients in their overall health journey.
• Assist in administrative tasks and maintain compliance with both state standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists serve a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing mental health challenges. Many of our clients experience co-occurring disorders or require specialized support for substance use issues. Understanding the unique needs of each client is critical to effective treatment, and you will work to develop engaging strategies to build rapport and foster healing relationships with each individual.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, with active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Strong knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and best practices that are current and relevant to individual and family therapy.
• Proficient understanding of mental and behavioral health principles, particularly regarding evidence-based treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with clients facing mental health and behavioral challenges.
• Experience in treating co-occurring disorders, conducting individual and group therapy sessions, or working in substance abuse settings is highly valued.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and the technologies that enable effective remote therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits
