Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions via telehealth platforms tailored to adolescent and young adult clients.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish initial diagnoses and create treatment plans aligned with best practices and therapeutic goals.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address client needs, adapting interventions based on holistic assessments.

• Participate in regular case discussions with fellow clinicians to share insights, discuss complex cases, and enhance treatment modalities.

• Ensure thorough documentation of client interactions and treatment progress that meets HIPAA compliance standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve client outcomes through a multidimensional approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily consist of adolescents and young adults facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. By limiting group sizes to a maximum of eight participants, our therapists can foster meaningful connections that facilitate deeper therapeutic engagement. This intimate setting ensures that clinicians can provide targeted interventions that lead to sustainable healing outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Possess a current, valid mental health license in New York State, with eligibility for supervision for junior-licensed candidates.
\n
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week as a contracted employee, or up to 40 hours per week for W2 positions.
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to create rapport with clients in a virtual environment.
\n
• Proficiency in using telehealth technologies and maintaining documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with adolescents and young adults in a clinical setting is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated involvement in case collaboration and engaging in peer consultations to enhance clinical practice.

• Experience in teletherapy, including familiarity with remote therapeutic techniques and technology.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we provide:
