Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, developing tailored treatment plans based on physician referrals and individual patient needs.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques designed to enhance strength, balance, and mobility, and educate patients on maintaining an active lifestyle.
• Foster excellent customer service, ensuring that each patient feels comfortable and informed while navigating their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, leveraging their insights to optimize patient care and recovery outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Consult and educate patients and their caregivers on injury prevention and home management strategies to encourage independence and self-efficacy.
• Track performance against established utilization goals and contribution metrics as part of the practice's broader business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage with a wide range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, pediatric conditions, and sports-related injuries. You'll have the chance to adapt treatment methodologies based on unique patient circumstances, significantly contributing to their healing process and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively educate patients and document treatments.
• Proficiency in word processing and common computer systems to maintain patient records and facilitate communication.

Compensation and Benefits

Amber's Physical Therapy LLC offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
