Key Responsibilities

• Direct individualized physical therapy treatment to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore muscle function, while maintaining each client's highest level of performance.
• Oversee the work of physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to established care plans and therapy protocols.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities using diagnostic tests to create tailored treatment plans.
• Assess clients' home environments and offer practical recommendations aimed at enhancing their independence and safety.
• Deliver physical therapy services as per the instructions of referring physicians, including administering manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises.
• Implement various treatment modalities, including traction, massage, and other physical agents, to support recovery and rehabilitation.
• Evaluate and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices as necessary, collaborating with physicians to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust care strategies accordingly.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to keep comprehensive patient records.
• Provide education and training to clients and their families about physical therapy exercises and home care practices.
• Ensure timely submission of clinical and payroll documentation in accordance with clinic policies.
