Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Clerk performs accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.**This is a hybrid position based out of our Global HQ in Rosemont, IL - typically M/F are remote and T-Th are in-office collaboration days** #LI-HybridAs AP Clerk at Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, you will:Sort, code, and match invoices through the AP systemReconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balancesReview payable invoices for accuracy and match to the purchase order submitted for authorization of purchaseResolve invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; ensure credit is received for outstanding memosVerify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactionsSet invoices up for payment, enter and post invoices to the systemCorrespond with vendors and respond to inquiriesResponsible for maintaining compliance with AP policies and proceduresMonitor accounts to ensure payments are up to dateProvide supporting documentation for auditsReports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoicesSubmit change requests to the supplier master databaseUpload expense reports into the ERP systemResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies and issuesProtects the organization's value by keeping information confidentialUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunitiesWhat Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is looking for in our AP Clerk (Qualifications):High School degree or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred2-4 years of Accounts Payable experienceComputer literate, with proficiency in ExcelAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multi-task and handle high volumes on a daily basisThorough knowledge of AP systems and techniquesKnowledge of Oracle ERP system and/or AP Express Accounts Payable system preferredAt Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we think customer first, play as one team, and raise the bar on fitness innovation—in the gym and in every corner of our facilities. The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $43,200 - $61,200 annually.This role is categorized as non-exempt and eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law.The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities.
