Work Environment

The work setting for this position is entirely onsite at our advanced rehabilitation facility, equipped with state-of-the-art treatment modalities and tools designed to facilitate a comprehensive rehabilitation process. Our center emphasizes teamwork and communication, with an interdisciplinary approach to care where physical therapists collaborate closely with occupational therapists, rehabilitation aides, and medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patients with various functional limitations or disabilities, effectively utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical reasoning.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, setting achievable goals aimed at restoring independence and mobility.
• Provide consultations to healthcare providers regarding the continuum of care, ensuring patients receive well-rounded support throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain meticulous documentation regarding patient progress, treatment modifications, and outcomes, adhering to all regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives, demonstrating the organization's commitment to education and public health.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and aides, ensuring high quality of care while fostering a positive learning environment.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and in-service training to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, accidents, or those living with chronic conditions. Your expertise will guide patients from various backgrounds and age groups, necessitating culturally competent communication that respects individual differences and promotes healing.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy is mandatory for practice.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and computer skills for documentation and data management.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred. Experience working with orthopedic patients and familiarity with various treatment modalities will be beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
