Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, operating within assisted living facilities and directly in the homes of our clients throughout the Princeton area. You will have the chance to work closely with a diverse patient population, allowing you to tailor your therapeutic approaches based on individual progress and unique challenges faced by each patient. Your typical workweek will involve regular hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough movement assessments to identify areas of improvement and establish accurate, personalized therapy plans for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt therapy techniques as necessary, ensuring that each individual receives the most effective treatment throughout their recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques and exercises that promote long-term wellness, ensuring understanding and commitment to their rehabilitation regimens.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans that address the multifaceted needs of patients.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and state-of-the-art rehabilitation methods to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Elevated Physical Therapy Group, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or dealing with chronic conditions that affect mobility and quality of life. Our patient population includes elderly patients in assisted living facilities as well as younger individuals receiving home care. Your role will significantly impact their rehabilitation journey, helping them achieve functional independence and improved physical health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university is required; however, candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are encouraged to apply.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license or the ability to obtain one is essential.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and adjust treatment plans effectively throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to connect with and motivate patients, inspiring them to engage fully in their recovery.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in home health or assisted living settings is advantageous, providing insight into the specific challenges faced by our clientele.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and education.
