Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while providing high-quality outpatient services. Working hours are generally from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the potential for occasional evening shifts based on patient requirements. Flexibility may be necessary to adapt to the diverse scheduling needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological status of clients and identify appropriate treatment plans.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that align with the specific diagnoses and goals of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing emotional challenges, fostering personal development, and enhancing coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, employing strong de-escalation techniques to support clients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation adhering to all legal and ethical standards within the mental health field.

• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and team meetings, contributing to the ongoing professional development of the team.

• Stay abreast of current trends, research, and regulations in mental health therapy to ensure best practices are followed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will work with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults who are facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. You will play an essential role in improving their mental health outcomes through tailored therapeutic approaches designed to encourage healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.

• In-depth understanding of various mental health disorders and trauma-informed care principles.

• Strong ability to conduct detailed mental health assessments and develop effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Experienced in leading both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of establishing rapport and maintaining therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is strongly preferred, demonstrating a history of successful patient outcomes.

• Experience working in a dynamic outpatient setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
