This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment while focusing on providing critical mental health services to clients within our detox center facility. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological well-being of clients entering the detox program.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, addressing issues such as co-occurring disorders and psychosocial challenges.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to enhance emotional regulation, coping strategies, and personal growth.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, addiction specialists, and support staff, to ensure holistic care.

• Offer psychoeducation sessions to clients and their families to foster understanding of mental health conditions and recovery resources.
\n
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in weekly team meetings and case consultations to ensure the ongoing improvement of care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Counselor will primarily work with clients entering our detox center, many of whom may also be coping with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other conditions effectively exacerbated by substance use. You will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of individuals seeking recovery, helping them navigate the complexities of both their mental health and substance use issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or related mental health designations.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling or social work, with a focus on diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
