Located in Jersey City, New Jersey, this full-time, remote position plays a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health services within a unique school setting. Work Environment\n

This position offers a flexible remote work environment with normal working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. While the primary schedule involves standard daytime hours, occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends may be required to address operational needs and ensure comprehensive coverage of mental health services. Additionally, you may need to be on-call to respond to urgent mental health situations, reinforcing our commitment to student well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for students, gathering information on personal history, presenting concerns, and relevant risk factors to formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Develop and implement tailored therapeutic interventions in collaboration with students, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing personal growth, emotional regulation, and the development of effective coping strategies.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services, employing de-escalation techniques and making appropriate referrals when a higher level of care is necessary.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to student care, promoting collaboration across disciplines.

• Offer psychoeducation to students and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mental health conditions and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and staff development activities, working towards continuous improvement and enhanced understanding of mental health practices.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will focus on serving a diverse student population, encompassing a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
