Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be fully remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that our school-based clients receive continuous support. While you will operate from a virtual setting, you will engage regularly with students, faculty, and families, fostering a strong community connection. Our work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life framework.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with families, school staff, and outpatient mental health providers to create a comprehensive support network for students.

• Navigate and interact with insurance companies to manage pre-certifications and utilization reviews, ensuring that students receive necessary services without delay.

• Participate actively in discharge planning and aftercare sessions, facilitating transitions for students returning to the school environment post-treatment.

• Provide therapeutic meal support by modeling healthy relationships with food, tailored to individual student needs and preferences.

• Deliver empathetic and affirming care through culturally competent practices that respect and acknowledge each student's unique background and intersecting identities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will focus primarily on students within the school system who exhibit diverse mental health needs. You will be responsible for assessing and addressing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and family dynamics. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
