Work Environment\n

This remote role is uniquely designed to cater to the needs of students in the school mental health landscape. The work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional evening shifts or rotating weekends to ensure comprehensive mental health support. As an LCSW, you must be prepared occasionally to be on-call to respond to urgent mental health situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for students, taking into account their personal history, presenting concerns, and risk factors, to identify their unique mental health needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans collaboratively with students, focusing on mental health issues, emotional well-being, and successful reintegration into the school community.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy to address a wide range of mental health conditions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to promote personal growth, enhance emotional regulation, and teach effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners to coordinate care and ensure a holistic, integrated treatment approach for students.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, deploying de-escalation techniques, and making appropriate referrals as necessary for higher levels of care.

• Educate students and their families about mental health, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
