Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to students, including assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy, to address symptoms related to major mental illnesses and emotional disorders.

• Collaborate with school personnel and parents to develop integrated care plans that facilitate access to appropriate services and resources.

• Engage in crisis intervention when needed, ensuring students receive timely support during critical situations.

• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings, followed by detailed assessments as necessary to inform treatment decisions.

• Monitor and document client progress, maintaining accurate records and timely completion of reports according to organizational standards.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to promote cohesive treatment approaches and share insights related to student care.

• Conduct trainings and workshops for staff and parents regarding mental health awareness and strategies for supporting students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with K-12 students from diverse backgrounds, many of whom may face socio-economic challenges, trauma, and other barriers to accessing mental health services. A tailored approach will be essential, as each student’s needs will vary significantly. Clinicians will be expected to adopt best practices that foster engagement and trust with students of various ages and cultures.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work and current New Jersey LCSW licensure.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a school or community mental health setting.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients, families, and professional colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
