Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Bonita Springs, Florida. We operate on a flexible schedule, allowing therapists to choose their hours from Monday to Friday, promoting work-life balance and job satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions to establish personalized treatment plans.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and assistive technology, to alleviate pain and restore functionality.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatments, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client needs.
• Regularly reassess patients to modify treatment strategies and set new therapeutic goals based on their recovery progress.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic procedures, techniques, and the proper use of assistive devices.
• Stay current in the field through ongoing education, professional workshops, and participation in relevant professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Great Blaze, you will work with a diverse population, including children, adults, and seniors, each presenting unique rehabilitation needs. You'll provide care for conditions such as orthopedic injuries, post-operative recovery, neurological disorders, and developmental disabilities. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping these individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, necessary for patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills to manage patient records and treatment plans.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and agility in adapting treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• No prior work experience required; however, a strong willingness to learn and grow in the field is essential.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with Home Care services is a plus, enhancing the quality of care provided to patients in their homes.

Compensation and Benefits
