Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will be tasked with a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

• Creating and implementing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, while continuously assessing their progress.
• Supervising physical therapy assistants to ensure compliance with care plans and quality of service delivery.
• Conducting evaluations of patients' functional abilities through various diagnostic tests and determining the best course of action for rehabilitation.
• Assessing patients' home environments and making recommendations to promote independence and safety.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities, such as massage and traction, to assist patients in achieving their therapy goals.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, including initial assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in accordance with organizational standards.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team during case conferences to discuss treatment outcomes and adjustments to care plans.
• Educating patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, self-care strategies, and device usage to empower them in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• All candidates must hold a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist and maintain CPR certification.
