Key Responsibilities\n \n Develop trusting and therapeutic relationships with patients to facilitate open communication and effective treatment. \n Diagnose mental health disorders using a comprehensive assessment process, incorporating standardized tests and clinical interviews. \n Create individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each patient, utilizing evidence-based methodologies. \n Conduct regular therapy sessions with individuals and couples, ensuring to adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments of patient progress. \n Facilitate group therapy sessions to support community healing and recovery. \n Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide holistic support for your clients, including referring them to specialists as needed. \n Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with clinic policies. \n Engage in continuous professional development and training initiatives to remain abreast of best practices in mental health therapy. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The patients you will work with vary widely, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. Your role is integral in helping diverse populations find pathways to improved mental health, drawing from your skills in family dynamics and conflict resolution to create a safe space for healing. Qualifications\n \n A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York. \n A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. \n Strong knowledge of assessment and diagnostic procedures for mental health issues. \n Excellent therapeutic and counseling skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate clients toward change. \n Exceptional communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with team members and clients alike. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and handling co-occurring disorders. \n Familiarity with evidence-based practices tailored to various mental health conditions. \n Experience with telehealth platforms for therapy delivery. \n Compensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
