Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and nature of symptoms associated with mood disorders in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, aspirations, and preferences, incorporating evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Continuously monitor and track client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal care and effectiveness.

• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to offer integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to client mental health.

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge regarding mood disorder interventions, fostering innovative treatment methodologies.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment outcomes, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on serving clients suffering from a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various backgrounds and life circumstances, such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Providing compassionate, nonjudgmental care will be essential as you help these individuals navigate their mental health challenges.

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
