Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while delivering critical mental health care services. You will connect with clients during standard business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a structured schedule that respects personal time and promotes a healthy work environment. As a part of a telehealth team, you will leverage digital platforms and technology to engage with clients effectively, ensuring high-quality care that is accessible and convenient.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health to evaluate the presence and severity of mood disorder symptoms, including understanding the impact on daily functioning.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals, preferences, and life circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate healing and promote resilience.

• Provide educational resources and ongoing support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, helping them understand treatment options and effective self-care strategies.

• Consistently monitor clients' progress and adapt treatment plans to optimize care, using outcome measures and client feedback to inform adjustments.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care, including discussing medication management when appropriate.

• Stay informed of the latest research and clinical guidelines related to mood disorders, contributing to the continuous improvement of treatment practices within the clinic.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans adhering to HIPAA and ethical best practices.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance clinical competencies and foster collaboration among staff.

• Advocate for client needs, working to reduce stigma associated with mental health issues and effectively communicating the importance of seeking help.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• Demonstrated proficiency in implementing evidence-based modalities for mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.

• A strong grasp of psychopharmacology and the ability to engage in productive collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• A successful history of achieving positive therapeutic outcomes in treating clients with mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
