Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients referred by physicians to create tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust treatment programs based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring alignment with the physician's plan of care.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, exercises, and manual therapy techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Document patient care, monitor their progress, and adjust treatment plans based on evidence and clinical judgment.
• Incorporate patient education sessions into your care plan, empowering patients and caregivers with knowledge and strategies to support recovery.
• Actively participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary rounds to enhance coordination of care.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, contributing to the overall effectiveness and reputation of our facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to establish trusting relationships with diverse patients, fostering connection and motivation in pursuing their goals.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, or sports therapy.
• Experience with evidence-based treatment approaches for diverse patient populations.
• Prior experience in a leadership capacity or involvement in community outreach programs is a plus.
