Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to connect with patients from the comfort of your own environment while ensuring they receive the support they need. Your primary working hours will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that you maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Everside Counseling Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments of patients to evaluate their mental and emotional health needs and determining appropriate next steps.

• Developing customized treatment plans based on the unique challenges and goals of each patient.
\n
• Engaging in one-on-one therapeutic sessions with patients, facilitating conversations that help them articulate their feelings and experiences related to trauma.

• Creating and recommending coping strategies that empower patients to manage stress and emotional pain effectively.
\n
• Monitoring patient progress, amending treatment plans, and documenting changes as necessary to reflect evolving needs.

• Providing education to patients and staff on trauma-informed care practices and effective coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborating with social and medical agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate necessary resources and services for patients.

• Participating in continuous professional development and completing ongoing education to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.

• Utilizing software systems such as Salesforce and EMR to manage patient information and streamline care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from trauma injuries. This population often experiences complex emotional and psychological responses, necessitating a thoughtful, empathetic, and customized approach to mental health care. You will be instrumental in breaking down barriers to recovery, guiding patients towards resilience and personal empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling is required.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of three years of direct experience working with trauma patients is essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with EMR systems is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are mandatory for effective interactions with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with Salesforce and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices will set you apart in this role. An understanding of community resources and outreach strategies is also beneficial, enabling you to connect patients with additional support services effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
