Key Responsibilities\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Minimum of 2 years of documented experience as a mental health counselor, preferably in an outpatient (or community) setting, demonstrating proficiency in various therapeutic modalities.

• Strong capabilities in organization and time management, ensuring efficiency in client scheduling and treatment progress monitoring.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms to document and manage client information securely.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with 3 or more years in outpatient mental health care will find themselves more aligned with the pace and expectations of our practice. Familiarity with specific therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) will be advantageous.
