Work Environment\n

This full-time position is conducted entirely through telehealth, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while connecting with clients in a convenient and accessible manner. You'll have the technological support needed to ensure smooth interactions with clients, including which secure video conferencing tools and electronic health record systems that ensure patient confidentiality. Mondays through Fridays, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. are the standard working hours, allowing you to focus on your therapeutic practice while receiving ongoing support from a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess the symptoms of mood disorders in clients by evaluating their intensity, frequency, and duration through detailed interviews and validated assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that encompass their unique goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, making timely adjustments to treatment plans as needed based on feedback and clinical assessments.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of clients' needs.

• Stay current with the latest developments in mood disorder research, implications for treatment, and emerging best practices, contributing to the enhancement of therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records according to state and federal regulations, ensuring ethical adherence and professional integrity.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.
