This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home, while still being part of a collegial environment. You will primarily operate within an outpatient office setting, coordinating care for clients in a flexible manner that accommodates their specific needs. Your responsibilities will involve remote consultations and assessments, allowing for varied connectivity with clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations, establishing detailed treatment plans tailored to fit individual client needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions across a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic therapy.
\n
• Facilitate individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions, ensuring that therapeutic approaches are both effective and meaningful.
\n
• Engage in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and psychologists, to create a holistic approach for each client’s care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems that streamline client tracking and billing.

• Stay abreast of current research, attending workshops and training sessions to continually enhance professional development and clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work with a diverse clientele of varying age groups and backgrounds seeking support for various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will tailor your approaches to respect and reflect the individuality of each client, guiding them through their unique challenges while developing coping strategies and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience providing counseling services, ideally in a clinical environment.

• Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertaining to counseling practice.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport with clients across diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using EMR systems and a competence in adapting to various digital tools for effective practice management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience or specialization in trauma treatment, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly regarded.

• Yearly salary range between $80,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
