Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, with a focus on home care. You will visit patients in their homes, allowing for tailored therapy sessions in a comfortable and familiar environment for them. Work hours are typically Monday through Friday, alongside rotating weekend shifts as required by patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and their overall health status, which includes assessing impairments resulting from injuries or chronic health issues.
• Based on evaluations, collaboratively set realistic recovery goals and establish effective treatment programs that resonate with patients' individual circumstances and physician directives.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient evaluations, treatment regimens, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with professional standards and insurance requirements.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions using a variety of techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education on injury prevention.
• Engage in continuous monitoring of patient advancements, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to maximize outcomes and ensure efficient use of therapeutic resources.
• Supervise support personnel, including Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), ensuring they are equipped to facilitate patient care in line with rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to enhance overall patient care and results.
• Provide valuable insights and constructive suggestions to management to foster an environment conducive to professional growth and operational excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be managing a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those with chronic pain issues, and patients with neurological disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia.

• Competence in utilizing computerized documentation systems and standard word processing software.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000–100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
