Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at the patients' homes, providing physical therapy in a comfortable and familiar environment. Key Responsibilities

• Patient Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients referred by physicians, determining their physical therapy needs and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Implementation of Treatment: Execute prescribed treatment protocols with precision, utilizing a combination of hands-on techniques and modalities to improve patients' functional abilities.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their caregivers regarding therapeutic goals, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies, ensuring they are equipped to contribute actively to the healing process.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare specialists to design integrative therapy solutions that promote holistic patient recovery.
• Performance Goals: Achieve minimum utilization targets while consistently delivering exceptional service, contributing to the operational success of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse range of patient demographics, including those with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine needs. As a Physical Therapist, you will encounter a variety of cases, from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management, allowing you to expand your expertise while positively impacting patients' lives.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for the position.
• Current state license for physical therapy in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication, alongside computer skills necessary for documentation and scheduling.

Preferred Experience

Experience in home care settings or outpatient physical therapy will be an advantage. Candidates who have demonstrated effectiveness in building relationships with patients and who possess strong interpersonal skills will thrive in this environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, complemented by an attractive benefits package.
