Work Environment\n

This role is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule among our extended hours from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and identify the most effective treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure coordinated and integrated care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during traumatic events or emergencies, offering timely assistance and resources.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms to encourage resilience.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and participate in team meetings, focusing on continually enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and clinical best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the delivery of the highest quality treatment.

Our practice serves a diverse patient population, including individuals who have experienced trauma, couples, and families. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPC in the state of Texas.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and colleagues.

• A strong commitment to ethical practice and adherence to confidentiality standards.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

• Ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on trauma therapy.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
