Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to formulate individualized treatment plans that align with the specific needs of your clients.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy, tailored to both groups and individuals.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the confidentiality and safety of patient information.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma-related issues. Many of our clients come from underserved communities, highlighting the importance of providing equitable access to mental health care and supporting clients in navigating their mental health journeys effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of valid and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling, demonstrating expertise in providing therapeutic services, ideally in a community health setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Demonstrated ability to function effectively as part of a healthcare team, contributing to the collaborative care process.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant technologies is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust compensation package, we provide access to health, dental, and vision insurance. Our counselors receive assistance with acquiring malpractice insurance and are supported with billing and documentation to reduce workload.
