Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments using structured interviews, standardized assessment tools, and clinical observation to evaluate patients’ mental health status effectively.

• Develop and implement comprehensive, personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for sharing and discussion.

• Lead psychoeducational groups that empower patients with knowledge about mental health issues, coping strategies, and the importance of seeking care.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide an integrated treatment approach for complex cases.

• Respond to mental health crises by offering immediate support and intervention, utilizing crisis intervention techniques as appropriate.

• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards by documenting patient interactions accurately and confidentially in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in weekly case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and learning from colleagues to enhance collective care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families, presenting with various challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. Many of our patients experience significant barriers to traditional in-person therapy, and our remote setting allows us to offer care to those who may otherwise go without necessary support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrable expertise in mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and therapeutic frameworks.

• Ability to create effective treatment plans and deliver tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Experience providing both individual and group psychotherapy to a diverse array of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
