Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify and understand clients' specific needs and create personalized treatment plans that incorporate clients' goals and circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailored to each client's situation.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at fostering community and addressing shared mental health concerns, creating a safe space for clients to connect.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide holistic care and ensure comprehensive treatment plans are executed effectively.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies to help stabilize clients in distress.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options available to them, and community resources that can aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with ethical and legal standards, ensuring a high degree of professionalism and compliance.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to share best practices, enhance treatment efficacy and foster a culture of learning within the team.

• Keep abreast of advancements in mental health therapy through ongoing education and professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily be working with clients who are experiencing a range of mental health disorders, encompassing both acute and chronic conditions. Our diverse patient population includes those seeking recovery from substance use disorders, individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, and other co-occurring mental health issues. Through your work, you will help facilitate their healing and growth during critical moments of their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong proficiency in mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and the delivery of diverse therapeutic approaches.

• Experience with conducting mental health assessments and developing effective, individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy across a spectrum of racial, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, highlighting the importance of building rapport with clients.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems and relevant technology to support practical documentation and communication activities.

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health settings, particularly working with substance use disorders.

• Experience facilitating group therapy and psychoeducational workshops is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n
