Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient clinic located in Red Bank. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility that fosters teamwork and interaction among healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine patients' physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient's specific goals and conditions.
• Manage a diverse patient load while ensuring quality care and maintaining accurate treatment documentation using EMR software.
• Employ various manual therapy techniques and modalities to treat musculoskeletal conditions effectively.
• Incorporate non-surgical treatment options that emphasize physical rehabilitation over medication wherever possible.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to ensure goals are being met.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding treatment options and health maintenance.
• Foster a motivational environment that encourages patients to actively participate in their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to provide integrated patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of excellence within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, musculoskeletal issues, and chronic pain conditions. Our clientele ranges from young athletes to older adults, each requiring personalized care plans that cater to their unique rehabilitation needs and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proven expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, supported by a strong foundation in manual therapy techniques.
• Ability to create and effectively implement exercise and rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically Web PT, for maintaining precise patient records.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to current best practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly in sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Background in research or clinical trials related to physical therapy practices is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
