Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess physical abilities, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Create individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs and therapeutic goals of each patient.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including exercise programs, stretching exercises, manual therapy, and specialized equipment, to alleviate pain and restore mobility.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress and response to treatment using electronic health record systems, ensuring a clear understanding of each patient's evolving needs.
• Regularly reassess patient conditions and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and goal attainment.
• Educate patients, their caregivers, and families on self-management techniques, functional exercises, and safety measures involved in their rehabilitation process.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain current knowledge and skills in physical therapy practices and innovations.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other health professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care, ultimately contributing to a supportive and cohesive healthcare environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The successful candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. By providing specialized, patient-centered care, you will play a crucial role in helping each patient achieve their rehabilitation goals and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Competency in digital health records and basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated adaptability and agility in managing a diverse case load.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, although new graduates with a strong educational background and a commitment to patient care are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
