Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at South Central Chiropractic Rehabilitation Clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating and diagnosing patients' physical conditions through comprehensive assessments and discussions with the patient and their families.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans using modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education to promote recovery and enhance functionality.
• Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes and address patients' evolving needs.
• Educating patients on their therapeutic journey, including proper body mechanics and exercises to encourage self-management of their conditions.
• Documenting patients' treatments, responses, and progress meticulously to comply with industry standards and facilitate seamless communication with other healthcare providers.
• Providing guidance and training to caregivers and family members in the use of assistive devices and appropriate rehabilitation practices.
• Participating in clinical meetings and professional development opportunities to keep abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices and technologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy, demonstrating your qualification to practice in Virginia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in electronic health records and basic computer skills to maintain organized patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
