This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while focusing on the school-based population. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, with no evening or weekend commitments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each student's requirements.

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy to students, focusing on coping skills, emotional regulation, and interpersonal strategies.

• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support for students' mental health and academic success.

• Evaluate and triage students in need of immediate intervention, delivering crisis counseling and referrals for additional services when necessary.

• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records, complying with all applicable mental health policies and ethical standards while ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Conduct screenings for prescription drug abuse, illicit substance use, and alcohol dependency, providing appropriate interventions or referrals based on assessment outcomes.

• Stay informed on current trends and regulations in behavioral healthcare, proactively integrating this knowledge into practice.

• Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions, contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.

The primary focus of this role is to support students within a school-based framework. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, alongside a current LCSW license to practice in Texas.
