Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate and understand patients’ psychological needs and circumstances.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that reflect meaningful, achievable goals for each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy to facilitate effective treatments.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a space for personal growth, emotional expression, and development of coping strategies.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create holistic care strategies that benefit the patient’s overall mental health journey.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support and resources for individuals facing mental health emergencies.

• Deliver educational support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and the resources available within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will work with encompass a diverse demographic, each with unique needs and backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred.

• Robust understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in applying evidence-based treatment methods.

• Exceptional skills in conducting mental health assessments, accurate diagnoses, and customized treatment planning.

• Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy, applying various therapeutic approaches effectively.

• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for building rapport and maintaining therapeutic relationships.

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
